about
Golden ArtNet is a contemporary art network established for the western central highlands of Victoria, from Ballarat to Bendigo and everywhere in between. There’s a thriving creative community across towns like Kyneton, Castlemaine and Daylesford too, and it’s our intention to provide a platform for the communication of the wonderful things being undertaken in the area.
Golden ArtNet is now roaming the region in search of quality contemporary art to view, consume, digest and expound its virtues to the world.
We feature:
- reviews of exhibitions
- interviews with artists, curators and gallery directors
- a list of galleries in the region who show contemporary art
- a calendar of exhibitions
If you’re interested in contributing, we would love to hear from you.
For gallery listings, exhibition listings and artist opportunities (all of which are provided free) just send through the details.

What a great way to show your support for the artistic community of the region. Golden ArtNet provides free coverage of the arts for the western central highlands – promoting tourism to the area, providing information to visitors and encouraging a dialogue and discourse around creativity and the arts. This serves to communicate the very unique and authentic ambience of our region, and your organisation’s support of this endeavour assists in that cause. From as little as $100 for a whole year’s worth of exposure, your logo will be displayed on the Golden ArtNet pages, be linked to your own website and increase the exposure of your products or services to a broad audience interested in the arts and the region in general.

Great review of Glenlyon Sculpture Show.
I like your section on opportunities for local artists. Thank you.
thanks Pat. it’s always nice to get feedback!
as far as artist opportunities go, i’m keeping an eye on what’s on and posting it up when i see it.
it’s a free service, so anyone wanting to post up information can also email me and i’ll pop it up for some exposure.
this region is unusually well endowed with artistic and creative content so it seems only fitting to provide a portal of sorts to bring it together!
